Join me for a relaxed and creative pottery painting session and personalise your very own piece of handmade pottery.

At the start of the workshop, you'll choose a hand-thrown mug or bowl, all individually made by me in my studio and bisque fired ready for decorating. Using a range of colourful ceramic underglazes, you'll create your own unique design while learning simple pottery decorating techniques.

No previous experience is needed, this session is perfect for complete beginners as well as anyone looking for a creative afternoon in a friendly studio setting.

Once your piece is finished, I'll carefully clear glaze and fire it for you, making it food-safe and ready to use at home.

Workshop Details

  • Cost: £40 per adult

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Date: Saturday 8th August, 11am- 1pm

  • Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (exact address shared after booking)

  • Collection/Postage: Pieces will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Collection from the studio or postage available for an additional fee.

  • What to Wear: The studio is in a beautiful old barn building, which can be a little chilly, so bring a warm layer. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on (but don’t worry, paint washes out easily!).

  • Important Note: Clay is a natural material and can occasionally crack or break during firing. Every care will be taken to ensure your piece makes it through the process, but this risk is part of working with clay.

  • Please note: Unfortunately, the studio does not currently have disabled toilet access. If you have any special requirements or accessibility needs, please get in touch in advance and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Cancellation Policy

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling is possible up to 72 hours before the workshop.

  • If I have to cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund.

How is it made

All pottery is hand thrown in my Warwickshire studio. Each piece has been designed with function in mind.

Care Instructions

All pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe

Due to the handmade nature of the product, please allow for slight variations in glazes and allow a 5mm difference in size.
