From Clay to Candlelight – Hand Built Tea Light House | Saturday 18th October

Join me for a relaxed and creative three-hour workshop, where you’ll learn to hand build and decorate your very own ceramic tea light house. This adult-only pottery workshop (18+) is perfect for complete beginners. You’ll be guided through each step - from shaping the clay to cutting windows and adding your own unique details.

You can choose to decorate your tea light house with your own designs or keep it simple with a timeless white glaze.

After the workshop, your piece will stay at the studio to be carefully dried, glazed, and twice-fired, making it heat resistant, durable, and ready to bring a warm, flickering glow into your home. Finished tea light houses will be ready to collect 5-6 weeks later, or can be posted for an additional cost.

Come along for a cosy afternoon with friends, or join solo and meet like-minded people in a welcoming atmosphere. By the end, you’ll have crafted a beautiful, functional piece of pottery to treasure.

Workshop Details

• Cost: £65 per adult

• Duration: 3 hours

• Date: Saturday 18th October, 1-4pm

• Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (exact address shared after booking)

• Collection/Postage: Tea light houses will be ready in 5-6 weeks. Collection from the studio or postage available for an additional fee.

• What to Wear: The studio is in a beautiful old barn building, which can be a little chilly — so bring a warm layer. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on (but don’t worry, clay washes out easily!).

• Important Note: Clay is a natural material and can occasionally crack or break during firing. Every care will be taken to ensure your piece makes it through the process, but this risk is part of working with clay.

• Tickets are non-refundable.

• Rescheduling is possible up to 72 hours before the workshop.

• If I have to cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund.
