From Clay to Cup: Hand Built Mug Workshop | Thursday 9th October

Join me for a relaxed and creative two-hour workshop, where you’ll learn to hand build and decorate your very own ceramic mug. This is an adult only pottery workshop, perfect for complete beginners. You’ll be guided through each step - from shaping the clay to adding your own unique touches.

You’ll also have the choice to decorate your mug with your own designs or keep it simple with a timeless white glaze.

After the workshop, your mug will stay at the studio to be carefully dried, glazed, and twice-fired, making it food-safe and durable for everyday use. Finished mugs will be ready to collect 4–5 weeks later, or can be posted for an additional cost.

Come along for a cosy evening with friends, or join solo and meet like-minded people in a welcoming atmosphere. By the end, you’ll have crafted a beautiful, functional piece of pottery to treasure with every sip.

Collection/Postage: Mugs will be ready in 4–5 weeks. Collection from the studio or postage available for an additional fee.

What to Wear: The studio is in a beautiful old barn building, which can be a little chilly- so bring a warm layer. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on (but don’t worry, clay washes out easily!).

Important Note: Clay is a natural material and can occasionally crack or break during firing. Every care will be taken to ensure your mug makes it through the process, but this risk is part of working with clay.

Rescheduling is possible up to 72 hours before the workshop.

If I have to cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund.
